What is one instance where you encountered remediation within contemporary culture? What was gained and lost within this remediation? For instance consider a movie adaptation of a book or comic book.

If I was to write this, I would consider my different engagements when reading Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and watching a film or mini-series adaptation of this text. Within my post, I would address what each medium does for this story by analyzing a specific scene where the film adaptation does something different from the novel.

*Remember in this blog you need to discuss something that has changed mediums (ie. a book to movie, book to theme park ride, newspaper article to video, and the like). A song remix or cover wouldn’t count because you are staying within the same medium.
